Debbie Espy

I moved to Cleveland in 2010 from Chicago in order to accept a position at Cleveland State University.  I have been very excited by the opportunities at CSU to meld research, clinical work, and teaching, particularly in involving students across all three.

My clinical background includes acute care, inpatient and outpatient neuro-rehab, assisstive technology, and geriatrics.  My research interests are in the areas of motor learning, postural control, balance training, fall prevention, exercise dosage, therapeutic aspects of video gaming and virtual reality, and the use of sensor technologies to provide exercise and motor learning feedback.

I can be reached at 216 687 3554 or at d.espy@csuohio.edu
